100 Sources of Pop Art

Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact on the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.’

This piece is the culmination of Blake’s iconic Sources of Pop Art series. The artwork brings together a definitive collection of the visual sources that have inspired Blake, and formed the basis of many of his pop art prints throughout his career.
