Toxicómano Callejero (which translates as Street Junkie) is a Colombian street artist, known for colourful and satirical artworks exploring everything from climate change to police brutality.
All Cats are Beautiful is the artist's play on the ACAB acronym, typically used in graffiti and tattoo art, which stands for All Cops Are Bastards. This abbreviation rose to prominence during the 1980's as a symbol of anti-establishment punk subcultures a movement which inspires much of Toxicómano's art.
The piece depicts Top Cat, fleeing paintbrush in hand, alongside multiple nods to the sentiment that every police officer is complicit in an unjust system.
