In collaboration with CCA Galleries and Coriander Studio, Webb maintained his signature collaged, hand-made approach by cutting and pasting the prints, while incorporating gold and silver leaf, mirrored papers, diamond dust, and glazes. His intention was to āreinvent the original works as high-quality, multi-layered silkscreened collages, refining and embellishing the ideas behind the pieces during the process.ā Each collage delves into themes of loss, romance, and nostalgia, often through the removal of the male protagonist. In āAntares and Love IVā, the day and night sky silhouettes evoke enigmatic and imagined realities that emerge from behind the surface.
