The work of Scottish painter and printmaker, Barbara Rae, is inspired by her travels around the world. Through abstract depictions demonstrating her exemplary skill as a colourist, Rae expertly captures the spirit of her chosen landscapes.
Ballinskelligs depicts a leaping salmon and was created alongside another piece featuring the same motif, entitled Fish Pool. Both pieces were inspired by Rae's in-situ studies of the Irish town, located in County Kerry.
