Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact as the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.’

Belga hails from Blake’s coveted series of cigarette packets. The collection showcases iconic 20^th century branding and demonstrates a theory that has informed Blake’s entire career – the idea that anything can be art.
