Boogie for Stu is an oil portrait by Peter Blake of Rolling Stones founding member and pianist, Ian Stewart. The painting was used as the album cover for a tribute album released near the 25th anniversary of Stewartâs death, named âBoogie with Stuâ after a track that Stewart recorded with Led Zeppelin.
The album was put together by fellow pianist, Ben Waters, of jazz band, The ABC & D of Boogie Woogie, and features a number of incredible artists, including the Rolling Stones performing a rendition of âWatchinâ The River Flowâ by Bob Dylan.
Boogie for Stu is from a small edition of 100 silkscreen prints, 10 of which have been given to artists that performed on the album. The print is signed by Peter Blake.
