Burger Queen
Haus Of Lucy, AKA Lucy Bryant, is a contemporary artist who appropriates found objects and images, and slips in quirky nods to contemporary culture.
Explaining Burger Queen, Lucy tells us:
"Mary was so excited! Tonight, she was being taken to the best vegan restaurant in town with a dashing soldier she'd met on the promenade just the day before. What the military man didn't know, however, was that Mary had a huge appetite for meat so in order to pre-empt any cravings, she ate a huge burger before she left for the date. Unfortunately, messy Mary managed to spill ketchup all down her best dress. Oh Mary! Maybe it's time to go vegan?"
This hand-finished original piece is created from polymer clay, ceramic paint, varnish. It comes signed by the artist.
Size (cm): 20
