Erre is a Colombian street artist who creates rousing murals and prints designed to inspire and empower women to fight for equality. Erre’s artworks tackle corruption, hypocrisy and feature strong female figures as a direct challenge to the culture of machismo in Latin America, and beyond. 

In this piece, a punk rock cat is lost in her studies – perhaps a nod to the role of education in empowering women and tearing down systems of oppression.
