Cupid, Love Always Wins is from Gjoen’s 2023 collaboration with renowned porcelain manufacturer, Meissen, who, since its foundation in the early 18th century, have been creating figurines depicting Cupid – the God of Love. Featuring three figurines and a skate deck, the collaboration has a distinctly anti-war message, and is designed to convey hope during troubling times.
Here, Cupid is depicted in a playful mood, lobbing a love grenade into the distance.
From a limited edition of 50, this hand-painted figurine is coloured with gold and stamped with Gjoen’s insignia.
