Dancing Place de la Concorde
In the wake of the enormous success of Peter Blake's Venice Suite, came his coveted Paris Quartet, a comedic collection of four collages, based around the City of Light.
Blake once again dips into his collection of animal husbandry manuals, illustrated dictionaries and photography archives to create a collection that perfectly marries sentimentality with joyous absurdity, and truly captures the joie de vivre of Paris.
In Dancing, Place de la Concorde acrobats, ballerinas and even a chap with bagpipes, gather together in the largest plaza in Paris.
Part of a limited edition of 125, the piece is signed by the artist.
Size (cm): 83 x 59
