Delirium, Blue

Dan Baldwin is producing an ever stronger body of work recognised for being both abstract and figurative drawing on the imaginative world and reality. Calling on common themes and motifs throughout his work; skeletons, swallows, crucifixes and guns. Each item holds significant meaning, the swallow meaning hope and the skeleton death. This duality of love and life is a contradiction and question that examines the meaning of humanity and the beauty of the world around us. Born in Manchester, Baldwin studied at Eastbourne College of Art. He now lives and works in West Sussex.

Delirium, Blue is a signed, limited edition silkscreen print. An edition of 20 it is part of a series of 3 prints. The other two being Utopia and Infatuation.

Delirium, Blue is bold light blue flower partnered with a smaller orange flower and the suggestion of a pink flower on a black and white background. The hopeful swallow appears and it becomes instantly a Baldwin.
