Deliverance Mini Gold

Cassandra Yap is a London-based artist whose work centres on the juxtaposition between darkness and beauty. Often infused with a surreal edge, Yap’s provocative work is inspired by her obsession with the female form and vintage pin-up girls.

From a distance, Deliverance Mini Gold may appear to be a depiction of a typical butterfly, but take a step closer and things become more interesting. Yap uses skulls and imagery sourced from vintage erotica to create the patterns adorning the butterfly's wings.
