Cassandra Yap is a London-based artist whose work centres on the juxtaposition between darkness and beauty. Often infused with a surreal edge, Yap’s provocative work is inspired by her obsession with the female form and vintage pin-up girls.

From a distance, Deliverance may appear to be a depiction of a typical butterfly, but take a step closer and you’ll discover Yap has used imagery sourced from vintage erotica to create the patterns adorning the butterfly's wings.

Deliverance is an original hand-finished silkscreen print, signed by the artist.
