Festoon 9 is an original oil on linen painting by Chris Kettle from his Festoon series.

For this series of paintings, Kettle carefully selected exotic fruit before taking hundreds of photographs with different lighting until he had enough to work from. He then began crafting the moody arrangement using oil on raw linen.
