Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact as the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.’  

This piece is a prime example of the fascination with tattoos that Blake has displayed throughout his career. Here, his subjects’ ink pays homage to music icons Elvis, Bo Diddley and Rick Nelson.  

This silkscreen print is from an Artist Proof edition of 1, signed by the artist.
