Lady is the third release from Waggett’s 2023 Halo Series, perfected to sit in harmony alongside, Butterfly and Bee, as well as the artist’s previous sold out bee editions. By encircling her insects within a golden halo, Waggett highlights how precious they are, and how vital it is that we protect them.
As well as being pollinators and eating harmful insects that damage crops, ladybirds hold much symbolism around the world. Typically, they are associated with protection, resilience, good luck and prosperity.
From a limited edition of 100, this lithograph print with gold foil embossing is signed, numbered and embossed by the artist.
