Framed Pachamama, Purple Colourway is a limited edition giclee print by contemporary artist Dan Hillier.
‘Pachamama’ is the South American Goddess of the Earth, whom Hillier has chosen to be the subject of his surrealist dreamscape. The traditional image of Pachamama often has the Goddess merging into the mountainside, instead Hillier connects her skyward. Hillier is fascinated by the transient state of consciousness on the mind, and often depicts his subjects in various forms of metamorphosis. A composition that both respects tradition but also is distinctly Hillier’s style, a stunning and arresting piece.
From a very small edition of 5, printed onto heavyweight textured Aquarelle Rag 310gsm 100% cotton archival paper, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
This piece has been shadow floated on black in a 25mm black box frame.
