Framed Scottish Wildcat

Scottish Wildcat is a limited edition print from contemporary British artist, Dave White. A leading figure in animal portraiture, White is known for his unique use of brush strokes, splashes and drips of pigment which create a unique sense of movement in his subjects, infusing them with character. 

Here, White depicts a Scottish Wildcat, one of the world’s most rare and threatened mammals, also known as the ‘Highland Tiger.’

The piece is from White’s Albion Collection, in which he seeks to highlight the fight to protect endangered species happening closer to home.

This piece is a giclée print with silkscreen and varnishes on Somerset Velvet 330gsm. From a limited edition of 50, the piece comes framed, and signed and numbered by the artist.
