Framed Soundtracks, XL

Driven by his love of his vintage magazine collection, photographer, Mark Vessey became interested in the concept of personal collections. His work involves photographing neatly-stacked journals, LPs and even vodka bottles to capture the aesthetic beauty and joy of owning a collection.

"My work is about trying to establish a sense of order. There is comfort in collecting things, studying things that people take for granted, grouping everyday objects in such a way that they become something special, seeing how they fit together to become a thing of great beauty.'

In this piece, Vessey turns his attention to motion picture soundtracks, capturing the magic of the movies. His selection includes absolute classic such as Grease, Full Metal Jacket, Cabaret and Romeo and Juliet.

This c-type photography print is from a limited edition of 15, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It also comes framed in a 25mm bright white box frame.
