Framed The Peoples Champ

The People’s Champ is a rare piece by internationally-acclaimed street art duo, Miss Bugs - one of the most exciting mixed media artist-collectives working in the UK right now. The piece has been painstakingly-crafted using printed paper cuts and dollar bills encapsulated in resin on wood and aluminum.

This artwork is a prime example of Miss Bugs’ style. Over the course of their career they have focused consistently on portraying the human form in visually-striking ways. The artists use imagery from popular culture as a starting point – in this instance an image of boxing icon Mohammad Ali - and then they cut, overlay and distort them to produce arresting character portraits rich in unexpected detail.

This original hand-finished piece comes framed and is signed by the artists.
