Framed Utopia, Purple
Utopia, Purple is part of a series of three prints from contemporary artist, Dan Baldwin, entitled Utopia, Delirium and Infatuation. Each of the prints is available in three different colourways.
The trilogy was created in homage to Andy Warhol's iconic flower paintings from the 1960's, which played an influential role in Baldwin's career.
The swallow, skeletal hand and barbed wire are common motifs in Baldwin's work, and suggest a multi-layered set of tensions between symbols of freedom, imprisonment, mortality and hope.
This silkscreen print is from a limited edition of 20, signed by the artist.
Please note: This piece comes framed in a 25mm white box frame and regular glass.
Size (cm): 68.8 x 88.5
