Everly Brothers is one of five silkscreen prints created for Peter Blake's Wooden Puzzle Series, a collection of collages produced from printed ephemera and objects from Peter Blake's extensive personal collection of found objects.
In the series, Blake once again celebrates day-to-day objects and reinvigorates popular items and characters from a bygone age. Via the use of glazes, glitter and embossing, Blake restores each object to its former glory.
The objects chosen to be the focus of 50 include black and white photos of the band, a cartoon of Mickey Mouse, and the Coca Cola logo - all perfect examples of things that have influenced popular culture.
From a limited edition of 100, the print is signed by Peter Blake.
Please note this piece is framed in a 25mm black box frame with regular glass.
