Framed You Are a Harvest Moon

Marcelina Amelia has created You Are A Harvest Moon especially for Enter Gallery’s Art Yard Sale 2022.

Amelia is an exciting contemporary artist known for works that contemplate themes of self-acceptance, gender and representations of female sexuality. She states: "I like to play at the tense borders between lust and innocence, joy and sadness, fun and pain.”

This painting is one in a series of works by Amelia exploring the metaphysical, and the healing power of women. She explains:

“The places in my paintings are a utopian belly of Mother Earth, a place where we can come into deeper contact with ourselves and with nature. As we cry out, we cleanse what needs comfort.”

This archival pigment ink print on Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper has hand-torn deckled edges and is hand-finished with acrylic paint. From a limited edition of 80, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.

Please note this piece is framed in a 20mm white box frame with regular glass.
