Haus of Lucy has created this artwork for Enter Gallery’s Art Yard Sale ONLINE 2024.

Haus Of Lucy is a contemporary artist who appropriates found objects and images and slips in quirky nods to contemporary culture. Her creations disrupt the ordinary and form new, thought-provoking and amusing works of art. 

Telling us the story behind this piece, Lucy reveals:  

“Lionel, with his soft white curls, always felt slightly intimidated by the other breeds at Doggy Day Care (even the chihuahuas picked on him), so he begged his owners to refer to him as ‘gangster’ in public and to adorn his harness with personalised plates. It worked! Now, no one messes with him and it was rumoured that he’s even managed to wangle an invitation to tea with the American Bullies. Result!” 

This giclée print comes signed and numbered by the artist.  

* Please note: Gangster is a timed release, which means that it is only available to buy between 9am on Friday 29th November and Midnight on Monday 2nd December. The size of the limited edition will be determined by the number of people who purchase the piece within the specified time frame.
