Hannah Shillito is a Brighton-based contemporary artist whose attention-grabbing and playful work emanates pleasure and positivity. This piece is from a series released by Shillito to celebrate the 2023 release of the Barbie movie.

In Gorgeousness, Shillito presents a line-up of Barbies rocking different looks, showing how the dolls have evolved over the years. Speaking of why she chose a gold background, Shillito reveals:

“I wanted to make a statement that women aren’t just commodities, we’re solid gold.”

 
This giclée print is hand-finished with gold leaf. From a limited edition of 10, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
