Haus Of Lucy, AKA Lucy Bryant, is a contemporary artist who appropriates found objects and images, and slips in quirky nods to contemporary culture.

Explaining Happy Shopper 2, Lucy tells us:

"Lord Rich has been affected by the rising cost of living, having to lay his staff off, renting most of his manor house out with Airbnb and exchanging Fortnums for Lidl. Why had no one told him about Lidl before? For the same price as a couple of jars of piccalilli and foie gras from his beloved royally-endorsed grocers, he is able to do his entire weekly shop AND pick up some treats from the middle aisle. In fact, he almost did a piddle in the middle of Lidl such was his excitement at the random goods spread out before him. And now, Lord Rich has found himself the owner of a saw, a pair of flippers, a house plant, a mug and a bottle of 'Lidl no 5.5', a fragrance that he knows Lady Rich will love. He'll NEVER go back to Fortnums again!"


This hand-finished original piece is created from polymer clay, ceramic paint, photographic paper, doll's house items and varnish. It comes signed by the artist.
