I'm OK

Euan Roberts is an artist based in Hastings on the south coast , who uses thick acrylic paints to produce simple childlike pieces which ask deeper questions than at first it appears enabling the viewer to reflect upon the everyday and where this is taking us. His work focuses on the importance of mental health within a chaotic world but always with an optimistic outlook.

I’m Ok shows an images dissected by the sea and sky, thrusting out is a placard that exclaims I’m Ok personifying the quote not waving but drowning. By its very naivety the image appears optimistic, whilst compelling the viewer to focus on the contradictions of the human condition.
