I Love You (White Diamond Dust), 2010

Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact on the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.

I Love You (White Diamond Dust) is a wonderful declaration of love, and a prime example of Blake’s mastery of typography – an interest of his since his days studying art at Gravesend Technical College.

This 15-colour silkscreen print is finished with diamond dust, embossing and gold leaf. From a limited edition of 175, the piece comes signed and editioned by the artist.
