Sanders is a Brighton-born artist who creates joyful typographic artworks combining custom lettering, geometric forms and a vibrant colour palette. Sanders' colourful prints are inspired by music, culture and the healing power of art.
Speaking of his piece, Sanders reveals:
āI couldnāt wait to create an artwork with the word JOY. The three letters J-O-Y immediately uplift the soul. Typographically the letter forms are very balanced and they are well suited to the geometry of my work.Ā The letter O is a central focal point of the word JOY. I drew the O as a circle within the centre of the artwork and then had it radiate outwards. The colouration is playful and depicts a true sense of joyfulness.ā
This is an original drawing created with acrylic inks on 300 gsm recycled GF Smith paper. It comes signed by the artist.
