Judgement

Justine Smith is a painter, sculptor and collage artist based in London. Through her art she explores the concept of money and the impact it has on all areas of our lives.

In Judgement, Smith depicts a pistol made from dollar bills using a variety of techniques of paper-cutting, collage, print and sculpture. The piece exploits the physical beauty of the notes, while also examining money as a means of power and control.
