Kissing Peacocks
Sarah Arnett's flamboyant artworks are created in homage to her passion for the exotic, and her formative years spent living and travelling in tropical climes.
The inspiration for Kissing Peacocks, came from the idea of bringing the inside-outside, and vice versa. Once again, Arnett showcases the splendour of Brighton's Bandstand, but here it appears in another world - in a tropical garden inhabited by monkeys and peacocks.
The peacock is inspired by the wallpaper in the Paris hotel room where Oscar Wilde lived out his last days in exile.
This giclee print is from a limited edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist.
