As with all of the artist's prints, Le Chaussure Qui Rit (The Laughing Shoe) began life as a 3D diorama, constructed from hand-drawn and cut out elements to give its unique sense of depth. The result is a psychedelic fantasy reminiscent of The Beatles', Yellow Submarine.
