Sarah Arnett's flamboyant artworks are created to celebrate her passion for the exotic, and her formative years spent living and travelling in tropical climes.

Lady Sun is Arnett’s homage to Billie Holiday, taking inspiration from the lyrics of her track, Sun Showers, which state:

“Sun showers never mind the rain
The sun will shine again through sun showers
In a little while the sky above will smile like lustre
That follows your kiss, dark clouds of sorrow
Will soon be a sunny tomorrow.”
