Le Dodo was created as part of Ghosts of Gone Birds – a 2011 collective project in which over 200 artists were commissioned to create artworks depicting birds that were extinct, or whose existence was threatened.
The collection featured works from the likes of Charming Baker, Peter Blake and Rob Ryan and proceeds went to BirdLife International.
