Libera is a limited edition print fromĀ The Divers series, a reimagining of the classical Three Graces through a lens of strength, movement, and freedom. In this piece, the figure is captured mid-dive, embodying a sense of release and power, far removed from traditional depictions of passive grace.
The concept for Libera took shape during a visit to Sicily, where the ancient ruins and rugged coastlines of Ortigia and Sampiere offered a striking contrast to classical ideals. These raw, energetic landscapes became the perfect stage for a new kind of mythological figureābold, athletic, and unapologetically free.
Hand-drawn and layered with hand-painted textures, Libera has a richly tactile, almost sculptural quality.
