Gazing at Sarah Arnett's art is like stepping into a daydream. Each of her flamboyant artworks is created in homage to her passion for the exotic, and her formative years spent living and travelling in tropical climes.

Liccio is a limited edition print from The Divers series, portraying a figure in a graceful pike position—folded inward yet full of quiet strength and control. This moment of suspended motion captures the balance between vulnerability and power, echoing the deeper emotional layers within physical form.

Conceived during a trip to Sicily, Liccio draws on the dramatic contrast between the island’s ancient ruins and its unruly coastal landscapes. Among the weathered rocks and faded seaside homes of Ortigia and Sampiere, a new mythology emerged—one rooted in resilience, raw beauty, and feminine strength.

Hand-drawn and enriched with layered painted textures, Liccio has a richly tactile surface that gives it a sculptural, almost kinetic energy.
