Maria Rivans is a Brighton-based artist known for richly-collaged images of vintage Hollywood starlets. 

Lillian is from Rivans’ Pin-ups series. By bringing together the human form with elements from the natural world, Rivans creates modern-day goddesses, with the elements of the headdress chosen to symbolise hope, change and new beginnings.
