Looking Down Hollywood Boulevard

Looking Down Hollywood Boulevard

Please note, this artwork is only available unframed.

Gavin Mitchell is a London-based artist who reworks found objects using photography, collage and print, to explore the relationship between East and West.

This piece is from Mitchell’s Fourth Wall series, in which he creates new narratives by juxtaposing vintage postcards with black and white film stills from classic B-movies of the fifties and sixties.

In Looking Down Hollywood Boulevard, Mitchell expertly combines his movie still and vintage postcard to make his group of cowboys appear to be galloping down Hollywood Boulevard.

This pigment print with UV varnish is from a limited edition of 15, signed and numbered by the artist.

Size (cm): 84.1 x 59.4
