Love Birds

Gazing at Arnett's art is like stepping into a daydream. Each of her flamboyant artworks is created in homage to her passion for the exotic, and her formative years spent living and travelling in tropical climes.

Love Birds was inspired by a verse from Pablo Neruda's poem, Leaning Into The Afternoons:

Leaning into the afternoons,
I fling my sad nets to that sea that is thrashed
By your oceanic eyes.
The birds of night peck at the first stars
That flash like my soul when I love you.
The night, gallops on its shadowy mare
Shedding blue tassels over the land.

This giclee print is finished with gold leaf and diamond dust. From a limited edition of 60, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
