Love is A Human Right

Rebecca Strickson has created this piece especially for Enter Gallery’s Art Yard Sale ONLINE 2023.

Strickson is an illustrator who combines 60s psychedelia with uplifting slogans to celebrate trade union banners and their power to communicate big ideas and fight for vital progress.

In the piece, Strickson uses the colours of the Pride flag to embody her message, explaining: “Love is A Human Right speaks for itself. We should have the right to love whom we chose, to exist vividly, safely, peacefully and without harm. The world seems hateful right now, but there is always light and truth and goodness hidden, and I believe it's worth fighting for.”
