Luthiers Elixir II, Framed Original

Luthiers Elixir II, Framed Original

CJP is a contemporary fine artist who creates highly-detailed artworks exploring the hidden narratives of man-made and natural objects, and the tools we use to interact with them.

Luthier’s Elixir II is a study of ink and varnish bottles once used by renowned violin maker, Charles Langonet. CJP explains: 'Varnish mixes are much coveted in the violin-making world, with secret recipes kept under lock and key and passed down through generations since the time of early makers.’

The original drawing is on 100% unbleached cotton paper. It has deckled edges and comes float mounted in a black frame, signed and numbered by the artist.
