Using his innovative printmaking practice, which combines silkscreen with painting and collage techniques, the artist recreates iconic views of cities, playing with colour and perspective in the process.
To create Meet Me At Blackfriars, Lilley hand-printed the view of the River Thames from Blackfriars Bridge onto a vintage edition of Monopoly, and added glitter rays of light radiating across the board.
From a limited edition of 30, the silkscreen print is hand-finished with yellow glitter, acrylic pens and oils, and signed and numbered by the artist.
