Millennium is from Lilley’s London One Pound Note Series, in which he depicts iconic views of the city on vintage one pound notes. Here, he portrays the Millennium Bridge illuminated by silver light emanating from St Paul’s Cathedral.
This hand-pulled screenprint with platinum glitter and gold ink is printed on a one pound note from the 1980s. From a limited edition of 50, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
