Monopoly

Contemporary artist, Mark Powell creates intricate hand-drawn portraits on found antique documentation using just a standard Bic Biro. While there is rarely a connection between his subject and chosen canvas, Powell explains that: ‘They are chosen to complement each other, and I hope lead the viewer to wonder, and maybe create, a shared history for the two.’

Monopoly is a silkscreen on found vintage American Monopoly board. From a limited edition of two, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
