More Trouble Than Thought is a two-colour silkscreen print with hand-applied palladium leaf by Jenny Holzer. The artwork was created when Holzer, along with seven leading international artists, was commissioned to produce a unique piece to honour 21 years of the Tate.
The piece hails from Holzer's iconic Truism collection, which she originally devised in the 1970s, and included 300 aphorisms and slogans that play on cliche and commonly-held truths.
From an edition of 125, printed onto Coventry Rag 335gsm paper, the piece is signed, numbered and dated by the artist on the reverse.
