Norman, Small Mother Piece

Driven by his own vintage magazine collection, photographer Mark Vessey became interested in the concept of personal collections and began photographing neatly-stacked journals, LPs and even vodka bottles to capture the aesthetic beauty and joy of owning a collection.

“My work is about trying to establish a sense of order. There is comfort in collecting things, studying things that people take for granted, grouping everyday objects in such a way that they become something special, seeing how they fit together to become a thing of great beauty.”

In Norman, Vessey brings together the record collection of original superstar DJ, Fatboy Slim aka Norman Cook. Created in collaboration with the DJ, the collection features Cook’s favourite tracks, alongside those that influenced his career.

From a limited edition of five, this highly-collectible piece comes framed in a black frame, and is signed and numbered by the artist.
