Mateo Humano uses forgotten images and traditional patterns and symbols to create his ‘monologues of the soul’. In creating artworks from carpets traditionally woven by women and placed on the ground, Mateo honours ancient cultures, and celebrates the beauty and strength of women.
Oracle II XL has been created especially for Mateo’s 'Ink and Paper' showcase at Enter Gallery in April 2022.
This giclée and silkscreen print is from a limited edition of 10. Editions 1, 2 and 3 are hand-finished with spray paint. Every piece in the edition is signed and numbered by the artist.
