Outfuckinrageous, Black Ornate Frame

Ryan Callanan AKA Ryca is known for his fun artworks that combine techniques and typography used in old-fashioned pub signage with motifs from popular culture. Via his prints and signs, Callanan’s aim is to ‘establish the aesthetic of old-fashioned signage as an art form.’

To create Outfuckinrageous, the artist carves his chosen phrase into the wood, which he then hand-finishes with 23ct gold leaf. Next, he applies a silkscreen print to the glass to enhance the 3D effect.

From a limited edition of five, the piece comes signed by the artist, and framed in an ornate wooden frame
