Kate Jenkins is a Brighton-based artist known for joyful pop-art crochet, knit and embroidery creations. Mostly food-focused, and spanning everything from prawn platters to patisserie pastries, her artworks are entwined with a wonderful sense of humour.

In this cheeky piece, Jenkins turns her hand to the ultimate aphrodisiac – oysters, depicted here with smiling faces and a bottle of tabasco.
