Palindrome Set of Four, 2024

Palindrome Set of Four, 2024

Boo Saville is a contemporary artist known for her fascination with colours, how they play with each other, and how we interpret them.Ā  Ā

This set of four prints makes up Saville’s 2024 Palindrome series, in which she explores how blurred geometrical lines can present new ways of accessing colour. A palindrome is a word, sentence or number that reads the same backwards and forwards. Each of the four editions in the series are titled after a palindrome and can be experienced in multiple directions.Ā Ā

Saville elaborates: ā€œI have recently started to explore symmetry in the composition of my work. I am seeking a sense of balance. The line is a proposition. It represents the centre of yourself. The centre is something that suggests you are at peace with yourself; it is self-acceptance.ā€Ā
Ā
This set of four layered archival pigment prints is from a limited edition of 40, each signed and titled on the front, and numbered on the reverse. Ā
